Involuntary Manslaughter (Punishment)

Involuntary manslaughter is when neither the action nor the result (death) are intentional. For instance, accidentally striking a pedestrian with a vehicle resulting in death. It is punishable as a Class 5 felony – 0-10 years in jail.
